One of the main issues with copyrighted materials comes when people profit (make money) by using a creator's work without paying them.

For example:

• Creating an ad for a product with a celebrity deepfake, where that celebrity is endorsing the product
• Creating a design that includes a copyrighted character, printing it on a shirt and selling it
