Data centres in space?

Some of the world's biggest tech companies, including Elon Musk's SpaceX, are planning to put data centres in space. 🛰️

Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin and AWS have announced similar plans and China has already launched its first space computing satellites.

Why?

• Free solar power: it's always sunny with no clouds
• Natural cooling: no cooling is needed as the heat just gets cast into space
• No land needed: can have millions of satellites floating in space.
