Misinformation
Misinformation is false or misleading information that people share without meaning to deceive others. The person sharing it may think it is true. For example your friend shares a fake photo because they think it is real.

| Fake AI image | Someone reposts an AI image of a bushfire saying it happened yesterday believing it is true |
| Chatbot gives a wrong fact | A student asks a science question and AI gives the wrong answer |
| False health advice | An AI chatbot gives incorrect medical information when asked about an illness such as cancer. |
| Fake AI video | A fake emergency alert video appears online, claiming there's a dangerous chemical spill in the city and telling everyone to stay indoors. |
