There have been many predictions about how AI will affect jobs. Like other future predictions, it is difficult to know exactly what will happen.

It is likely that AI or rules-based software will complete some tasks within different jobs.

Automation is when a robot, software program or AI system completes a task without a human doing it. One example is a robot making coffee for a customer.
