Lesson 7: Problem Solving with Vibe Coding and Agentic AI
Giving the agent permission
When you set up an AI agent you choose what it is allowed to do without checking with you first. The more access you give, the more useful the agent can be, but also the more it can mess up if something goes wrong.
Common permission levels are:
- Ask every time: the agent checks with you before doing anything at all
- Ask for big things, do small things automatically: the agent only asks permissions for things that can't easily be undone, like sending money or deleting a file.
- Full access (YOLO): the agent can do almost anything without asking: read your messages, send emails, spend money, talk to other people or other AI agents.
